SILVERSTREAM STUD MALES
Silverstream Alpaca Stud has sourced some world class genetics including the Accoyo line from Peru, the Hemingway line from North America and the Conquistador/Warrior line from Australia. We are very proud of our stable of stud males whose progeny are regularly winning broad ribbons in the show ring.
To backup this claim, Silverstream owned alpacas have won a total of four Supreme Championship titles from six shows in the 2007/2008 show season and a further 35 broad ribbon championships.

Imported from Ron and Dianne Condon's Shanbrooke Alpaca Stud in Victoria, Australia. One of the best stud males ever imported into New Zealand, Jolimont Attitude is a son of the legendary Jolimont Sculptor.
Attitude now has over 120 progeny on the ground, many of whom are already broad ribbon winners. Jolimont Attitude offers extreme density, fleece coverage and softness of handle. He will be based at Silverstream over the summer months and available on a limited basis for outside matings due to his heavy workload.
One of Attitude's sons, Camelot Tor has won five Supreme Championships in a row in 2006 including Royal Melbourne.

New Zealand Supreme Champion from the 2007 National Alpaca Show under international judge Jude Anderson. Silverstream Flashdance is the complete package offering excellent density and lustre
with a highly defined crimp that is uniform throughout his fleece with minimal primary fibre. He
produces good length of staple over a solid frame with excellent conformation.
His sire ILR Alpine Fiber's Brutus by Peruvian Hemingway is still 22 micron on his seventh fleece and has produced more show winners than other stud male in New Zealand.
The dam Rosalinda 2 has been one of our top dams and all her progeny have been successful in the show circuit. Despite his young age, Flashdance was certified at 20 months of age and working at 22 months with confirmed pregnancies.

Silverstream Faberge is a full brother to Silverstream Czar, NZ's most successful show winner ever
with 8 supreme championship titles. With Czar now sold and resident in the UK, these genetics become
rather special.
Faberge in his very first year won two supreme championship titles, 4 age group championships and a second
from 5 shows. In 2007 and against some imported males his worst placing was 4th at the National Alpaca Expo
in a large class of over 20 animals. Pucara Juliana the dam has produced four progeny and all four have been supreme champions in major shows. At the National Alpaca Expo 07, Faberge was beaten by the eventual supreme champion, Silverstream Flashdance such was the quality of the field.
Silverstream Faberge will stamp softness of handle and a fine high definition crimp into the progeny.
Faberge will be based in Taranaki over the summer of 2008 and is available for outside matings.

Silverstream Evaki is possibly the only certified male by Windsong Valley Iceman in NZ. Iceman is still the only alpaca to ever win the Australian National Show twice in both breed and fleece and today his progeny are
keenly sought after. Evaki had a stunning fleece from the day he was born and promised much in the show ring.
He was supreme champion at both the Upper Clutha and Fairlie shows in 2007 and in 2006 he was junior champion male at Ashburton and was placed second in his other three starts.
This is an exceptional stud male with Purrumbete Highlander as the grand sire on both sides.
If it is density, lustre, uniformity and length of staple you are after, then this is the male to use.

Silverstream Eminence had fleece to die for as a youngster and sure enough went on and won
Supreme Champion Fleece at both the Waikato and Canterbury A & P shows in 2005. His second fleece
was still good enough to place second in the 6-12 months class at the National Alpaca Expo 06.
Eringa Park Tessane, the dam is one of our top females and was used as a donor in our ET programme -
she is still 21 micron with a comfort factor of 95 on her fifth fleece. Commisario the sire is one of the top
Accoyo sires from the well known Cambridge Stud in South Australia. With Ruffo and Allin Capac in the
breeding background, the fineness and softness of handle in the fleece should prevail.

Warralinga-Gorge Showdown is a full brother to Blue Grass Centurion, Supreme Champion at Royal Sydney, the AAA National Show and Royal Perth 2003. Centurion was described by well known judge Allan Jinks as quite simply the best alpaca he had ever seen. Jolimont Warrior the sire of Showdown and Centurion won supreme at Sydney, Melbourne and the 2004 National show. Purrumbete Vanilla the dam of Showdown has produced a string of show winners and has featured in the Australia Alpaca magazine (Spring 2003). Showdown has excellent density and fleece coverage and has excellent conformation.

Packed full of quality genetics, Blue Grass Southern Warrior was destined for the show ring.
His sire Jolimont Warrior was sold at auction for A$125,000 and has since gone on to win Supreme Champion at Sydney, Melbourne and the AAA National Show in 2004. Blue Grass Elle Dorado, the dam is by Purrumbete Vanilla, one of Australia's best dam' s having produced Blue Grass Leading Lady and Blue Grass Centurion.
Southern Warrior's fleece is dense with a broader crimp style but very uniform. He has excellent conformation and offers very attractive and keenly sought after genetics to New Zealand.

Paca Perfect Heath was the sire of Silverstream Fletcher (16.41u, 4.29sd, 26.1cv & 98.8cf) who won Brown colour champion at the National Alpaca Expo 06 and sold that same day for a five figure sum.
